"CANNT BE DIVIDED – the organisers of the CANNT Festival want to unite us this June"
Now in its eighth year, the CANNT Festival will return to London, and major cities across the world, from the 19th to 23rd of June to inspire, showcase and reward the best creative talent.
This year’s theme CANNT Be Divided builds on 2016’s adventure, and is all about repelling divisive forces with a glorious celebration of how creativity helps bring people, ideas and causes together.
The festival has once again teamed up with Creative Equals to further promote recent industry efforts to ensure the collaborative teams of the future are not only gender, economic and ethnically diverse, but also committed to reach beyond perceived divisions as they strive to deliver the very best creative ideas. In an exciting development for the festival, CANNT and Facebook Creative Shop will promote opportunities for new creative talent, and showcase their Canvas hack for mobile folios.
Each year the festival coincides with the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity and offers those unable to attend the French Riveria a refreshing chance to meet like-minded people and indulge in creative fun. This year the London based festival is based around two key events, one West, one East:
CANNT Be Divided
A collaboration with Publicis UK, including CANNT Speed Critique supported by Havas London, the CANNT Get Noticed Facebook competition, along with drinks and entertainment on Wednesday 21st June at Publicis UK Baker Street office.
Glug x CANNT: The Summer Party
A joint event with the popular ‘Notworking™’ network to bring a London style feel good factor to an afternoon and evening at Cargo on Thursday 22nd June where attendees will get the chance to meet some of the key players from London’s top agencies.
The Young Creative Council will be running their internship Cannes You Kick It. An initiative that offers the best Creative Interns to cover agencies that have shipped their creative stars out to Cannes for the week.
